Acupuncture in Treating Addiction
With support from the Health Canada’s Substance Use and Addictions Program. Dans la rue is coordinating the creation of a network of local clinics that provide free acupuncture treatment tailored to the needs of marginalized people experiencing or at risk of addiction, as part of a continuum of care addressing various aspects of each individual’s journey.
Clinics open to everyone
The NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) program at the Clinique d’Acupuncture Sociale d’Hochelaga takes places four times a week, thanks to support from the Fondation québécoise de l’acupuncture. Treatment is provided free of charge, but donations are accepted to help keep the program running, now and in the future.
