Preparing hot dogs for the Van
Donors and friends of Dans la rue are welcome to make a difference in their community by helping to prepare the hot dogs that are handed out during the Van’s nightly rounds.
Every Wednesday evening, we host groups of 6 to 10 volunteers (18+) at our Day Centre to prepare between 700 to 1000 hot dogs that will be served from the Dans la rue Van. Volunteers are asked to come in from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to get everything ready. They will be given a tour of the Day Centre and the Van at the end of their shift.
Please note that
- Applicants will be provided with the exact address for the activity and other details with their official confirmation.
- We do not offer volunteer activities for groups of more than 10 people.
- No other time slots or alternative activities are available for groups.
