Use of Dans la rue’s services on the rise

With more and more young people using the Day Centre, the Van and other support services at Dans la rue, it’s clear that the urgency of the situation at hand must be addressed.

Last year’s numbers speak volumes:

  • 18,200 visits to the Day Centre, up 44%
  • 22,325 visits to the Van, up 20%
  • 1,690 efforts to support mental and physical health, up 62%
  • 1,125 housing enquiries, up 60%

“Change of Address”: A campaign to raise awareness and collect in-kind donations

In collaboration with the advertising agency LG2, we are launching the “Change of Address” campaign aimed at raising public awareness about youth homelessness and asking for donations of items like warm clothing and other winter necessities.

The “Change of Address” campaign will see a number of influencers switch their mailing address to Dans la rue’s, so that the packages they receive can be used to benefit young people in need.
