A discussion on the challenges of preventing youth homelessness
The second Youth Homelessness Prevention Forum is set to take place in Quebec City on April 30 and May 1, 2024. The event is an initiative of Coalition Jeunes+, created by Dans la rue in 2018 to explore ways to tackle homelessness in Quebec and to advocate for the rights of 12- to 30-year-olds.
The forum will bring together many different groups dedicated to finding solutions to increase engagement with respect to preventing youth homelessness. The goal of bringing everyone together like this is to encourage dialogue, knowledge transfer, competency building and cross-sector collaboration.
Workshops on preventing youth homelessness
Forum attendees will take part in a series of workshops and interactive activities during which they will exchange views and experiences with other front-line stakeholders, decision-makers and youth representing Coalition Jeunes+ and various community organizations. It is a golden opportunity to share your expertise, your insights and your ideas on how to address the problem of youth homelessness.
