In the midst of a housing crisis and growing residential instability among young people, Dans la rue offers several initiatives inspired by the Housing First for Youth model. Learn how the Housing complex, Logement Jeunesse Montréal, JALON and Eviction prevention services help youth secure housing, maintain it and build long-term independence.

Under the summer heat, volunteers from Home Depot St-Henri transformed the courtyard of Dans la rue’s Housing Program into a welcoming and safe space for families.

The Quebec government has announced $94,500 in funding for Dans la rue’s ASPIRE project. This support will make it possible to continue and enhance the support provided to youth in the child welfare system, with the aim of promoting their stability, independence, and transition to adulthood.
