Material donation
Every year, Dans la rue distributes more than 70,000 bags of food, 25,000 hot meals, thousands of pairs of socks and underwear, as well as sweaters, shoes, coats, soap, shampoo, and toothbrushes.
Your material donations help provide essentials to young people in precarious situations.
Information You Should Know
What?
We accept donations of items that are new* or in excellent condition, subject to our storage capacity and the needs of the young people.
Who?
Individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and groups organizing fundraisers for Dans la rue can help young people by donating material goods.
How?
We invite you to drop off your donations directly at the Day Centre during our hours of operation.
Our team can also pick up your donations.
*Tax receipts may be issued only if the appropriate documentation is provided to determine the fair market value or deemed fair market value.

- Instant soup, ramen style (with containers)
- Pasta
Products must not be in glass containers and must be free of nuts and peanuts.

For men
- Sturdy walking shoes (sizes 8 through 13, especially 10 through 13)
- Work boots with steel toes (sizes 9 through 13)
