The Van

The Van represents an important first step in the long process of building trust with the youth and is often their first point of contact with Dans la rue.

About the Van

In addition to providing a brief escape from life on the streets, the Van’s volunteers also refer youth to appropriate resources.

The Van is a bus that offers a safe, warm break from the street for homeless and at-risk youth. 

The Van provides the following services:

Where does the Van stop?

8:15 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Ste-Catherine St. and Morgan Av.

9:15 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Gascon Avenue and Ontario St.

10:15 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Ste-Catherine St. and De Lorimier Av.

5 nights per week – All nights except Tuesdays and Saturdays.
